Sound Designer
As a sound designer in games, I create and shape the auditory landscape that immerses players in the game world. I design everything from ambient sounds and character effects to intense action sequences, ensuring that each sound enhances gameplay and storytelling. My goal is to make the audio experience seamless and dynamic, reacting to player actions and the game environment, ultimately deepening the player's connection to the game.
Audio Implementation
I implement and integrate audio assets into the game engine by using middleware programs or directly in the engine. I ensure that sounds trigger correctly in response to player actions & game events. My work involves using programs like Fmod & Wwise to create audio triggering events that connect to player & objective actions in the game.
Foley Artist
Creating and recording sound effects using a wide variety of materials, props, and surfaces. My goal is to bring scenes to life through sound by carefully reproducing things like the movement of clothing, the clash of swords, or the subtle details of footsteps and environmental textures. It’s a hands on and creative process that requires both technical skill and a sharp ear for realism and emotion.
